Emirates Post ‘excellence teams’ raise awareness about Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Awards  

The ‘excellence teams’ of Emirates Post have started raising awareness among all employees regarding the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Awards.

As a first step, the teams made presentations which were attended by the CEO, Assistant CEOs and heads of different zones. The aim of the presentations was to raise awareness and promote excellence among the employees. The presentations were made by Ali Al Ghurairi, a team member in the excellence program.

“Emirates Post cares about empowering employees and pays great attention to providing them with all the information they need to know about excellence. Our desire to participate in the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Award is an extension of this philosophy,” said Mr. Ibrahim Bin Karam, CEO, Emirates Post.

“We have assigned a dedicated team for the purpose, and they have started gathering all essential information. Moreover, the team has started communicating with all the employees and encouraging them to apply for the 6 categories: personal, supervision jobs, technical jobs, engineering, major jobs, administrative job and site-jobs.

The team has also started visiting different organizations to benchmark best practices. The latest visit was to the Dubai Police.

The goal of the Excellence Team is to prepare employees to submit their entries to the Awards, and thus raise Emirates Post’s profile among government departments, and also promote a culture of excellence in the company.
