Size and Weight Limitations for Mumtaz Postal Items
Size and weight limits vary from country to country but in general, the sum of the length and the greatest circumference must not exceed 3 metres.

In most countries a maximum weight limit of 20 kgs (per item) applies however, some countries will only accept items weighing 15 kg or less and a few countries impose a maximum limit as low as 10 kg.

Pricing

Rates vary depending on the weight and destination of the postal item (See Rates Chart). The same charges apply within any given emirate and between emirates. Post-dated payment facilities and monthly discounts are granted to contracted bodies. The discount offered ranges from 15% to 40% (depending on the volume of mail sent each month).

Conditions
The insurance scheme does not cover items that have been lost, damaged or delayed due to forces beyond human control (force majeure) or by the fault or negligence of the sender, etc.

Service Features
All items accepted by Mumtaz Post are insured (free of charge) against delay, loss and damage.
In the case of loss or damage, the consignor will be paid up to a maximum of Dhs 15,000 per Mumtaz Post item.
Compensation up to (and not exceeding) Dhs 20,000 per item may be paid for additional expenses, loss of market, reproduction costs and similar losses occurring as a result of delay, loss or damage.
